Studies for the Serum Protein Fractions of Some Blood Disorders

Abstract
|
|
|
We studied for the serum protein fractions of 12 aplastic anemia patients and 9 leukemia patients by the filter paper electrophoresis and had following results.
1. The serum protein fractions of aplastic anemia patients revealed marked decrease in serum albumin fraction and increase in serum al, a2, ? ? r-globulin fraction especially marked, increase in r-globulin fraction.
2. The serum protein fractions of leukemic patients showed a little decrease in serum albumin fraction and moderate increase in serum. a2, G & r-globulin fraction.
3. Approximately the changes of the serum protein fractions were more marked in aplastic anemia patients than in leukemic patients.
And there was little change in total serum protein in both aplastic anemia and leukemia patients.
